I HAD SEEN SOMETHING LIKE YOUR SHIELD SO I MADE A POST ON PHILIPPINE SHIELDS. WE CAN LOOK FOR CAMPARASONS THERE AND PERHAPS ADD THESE TWO SHIELDS TO THE POST LATER AS WELL AS LINK IT FOR FUTURE REFRENCE. YOUR SHIELD DOES LOOK LIKE A GOOD OLD EXAMPLE THAT HAS SPENT A LOT OF YEARS UNDER A HUT AS IT DOES NOT LOOK ARTEFICIALLY AGED. IT MAY BE A OLDER PLAINER VERSION OF BAGOBO SHIELD OR FROM ONE OF THE OTHER GROUPS. SOME OF THE PICTURES SHOW GROUPS FROM THE SAME TRIBES WITH DIFFERENT KINDS OF SHIELDS, AND SOME WITH VERY PLAIN SHIELDS. I SUSPECT THERE WERE MORE PLAIN ONES THAN FANCY ONES IN THE DAYS WHEN THEY WERE IN ACTUAL USE. THE FANCY ONES SELL BETTER SO WE SEE MORE OF THEM MADE IN POST CONTACT TIMES.
