THE COOK ISLANDS WERE KNOWN AS THE HERVEY ISLANDS BEFORE IT WAS CHANGED TO THE COOK IS. HERE IS A DRAWING OF WEAPONS FROM THE HERVEY IS. TIMES. THE ARTICLE IS FROM 1867.
