Matchlock (deceased) Join Date: Sep 2008 Location: Bavaria, Germany - the center of 15th and 16th century gunmaking Posts: 4,310	It might also be Austrian as I found out that 'folded' iron straps also occur on haquebuts in Austrian and Swiss collections; as the barrels all have Nuremberg workshop marks it cannot be exluded that they were stocked in Nuremberg and delivered as complete guns. m
