Gents, sorry to interrupt your discussion, but here I found several old photos with straight saif. As I see they belong to forum member Michael Blalock, so I really hope there's no problem if I provide links:

But at first two we can see pure straight saif. I just wanted to ask Ibrahiim - are these photos supposed to be taken before/after the dance, or we may consider that saif could be worn at some official occasions (like a parade/dress weapon)?
