Default 1908 new to me.

My latest addition to my small European and inspired edged weapons. Nice super clean 1915 example. I even have the leather sword bag. Am I right in assuming this is an officers sword private purchase. The plated bowl and the leather suspension frog as opposed to rings on the scabbard. I think these are very good looking swords. I have to admit that they are not quite as much fun to handle in your home as the usual cut and thrust swords and sabres. Always wanted one since I saw one for sale as a student, far too expensive in those days.

What is your view, nice or ugly?
