Default Close ups of the Pavia Tapestries

To my amazement I found out the that the incredible Pavia tapestries were being displayed in my home of Houston, Texas at The Museum of Fine Arts. For those that don't know, the tapestries were made just a few years after the battle itself which occurred in 1525, making them nearly 500 years old. Each of the seven tapestries are massive, weighing over one hundred pounds each and measuring 28ft by 14ft (8.5m by 4.25m). I ended up taking way too many pictures but I hope that some of you may enjoy a few favorites. While these pieces are basically propaganda, the weapons and clothing pictured are amazing.
