Thank you. Missing terminal or peened tang is not usual in the case of this kind of straight Sudanese blades. It is more usual in the case of X hilts and curved styles blades. -It may be the second handle ? - Maybe different tribes/producers mixed together ? Isn´t there influence of Ottoman design (fluting on the handle ?
Did you receive it from older collection out of Africa or is it comming directly from Sudan now ?
