Jim McDougall Arms Historian Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Route 66 Posts: 10,660	I have a lionhead British band sword c. 1820s The thing is that band sabres seem to have full brass scabbards, and mine is marked 2D and a number. ...2nd dragoons....full brass scabbard.
