Hi
the best book in this regard: "Petite Histoire du stylet Corse" by Jean-louis Leccia.
In this book, this type of stylet, called "a la genoise" (Genoa, Italy) called.
the handle materials are different.
The two are black wood and the fittings are brass, nickel plated brass (?)
The small knife is made of mother of pearl, the fittings are made of silver, which is also engraved with floral decoration.
the old? difficult: the little book is illustrated and dated between 1880 - 1920.
with the big brass, 1800-1850
the average 1880-1900
