			A friend of mine has this very nice hilt. I tried to convince him that it really should be mine but he is not convinced at all.... 
		
		
		
			Anyway I think it is gayo and based on the kris disc of Jensen of a higher ranking person with a number of stars engraved. It is ivory with a very dark patina. Would like to hear your opinions on the region and possibly age? Regards, Erik  |

	It is very difficult to estimate a age (very old hilts can look relative new because not often handled, relative new ones can look old because often handled) of a hilt but this one seems to have a good age, minimum 100 years probably moore. Regards, sajen  |
