Hi guys, this is the latest purchase. Unfortunatly the top of the scabbard was cut time ago (there is patination also on the side cut). The blade is laminated (or at least it shows an hardened edge), but I think that I will polish the blade since on the forum I have seen always shining blade.

Flavio,
I'm not so sure that these swords were kept "shiny and polished" by their original owners .
