			Mexican knives from Baja california.  
		
		
		
			regional ethnographic knives from mexico. these are called "desert knives"--"cuchillos del desierto" there is a large array of knives made around the city of la paz. According to what i can find there is still about 20 knife makers in this area making traditional knives, bowies and machetes. there is also a novelty "pistol" shaped pocket knife similar to the pocket knives made in Chile ..  |
