			After much research I found out this hunting sword and baldric bears the coat of arms of the German princely house of THURN AND TAXIS. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thurn_und_Taxis On the central shield there is a badger but apparently the silversmith didn't know how a badger looks like and made it look like a bear. Most probably the sword and baldric belonged to Maximilian Karl of Thurn and Taxis (3 November 1802 – 10 November 1871) who was the sixth Prince of Thurn and Taxis, head of the Thurn-und-Taxis-Post, and Head of the Princely House of Thurn and Taxis from 15 July 1827 until his death on 10 November 1871. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maximi...hurn_and_Taxis The sword was made by the Bavarian royal supplier Stroblberger of Munich.
