This is the best Dao I have seen. And when I say best, I mean type, decoration, condition, etc.
Most daos on the market today are fake or very simple and in poor condition.

Nice saber, and thank you for sharing the photos. Can I ask how long the blade is and if it feels hefty in hand? Maybe you even have the weight of the saber alone.

Blade length is 28 inches - 71cm
width 1 3/8 inches - 35mm
Thick .25 inches - 6.35mm

It is hefty in the hand, well balanced.
