At long last this has arrived after a VERY slow journey from the USA. I believe it probably originates from Morocco, but confirmation and any comment would be appreciated.
The body of the flask is horn, decorated with silver studs, copper and brass strips with incised decoration. Height including spout is approx. 7" (17.5cm). Cap complete with chain. Stu |

Hi Stu.
Now that's a nice powder flask!! And just the right size. Not too large. I agree, it's likely Moroccan (or possibly Algerian) - but yes, I think it's Moroccan. And it even has it's cap and chain still intact. That flask would look real good with one of my Moroccan or Algerian guns. ![]() Rick. |
