thought i should add one to my oceanic & african ones...
described as a amazonian Kayapo war club from Guyana, South America. 1.2 kilos, 1.35 metres long. carved all over with longitudinal grooves. |

i read thru the threads here that came up from a search on 'kayapo', quite informative. saw many similar with some of the features of 'my' one, but not all. looks like many with the fibre braiding on the grip also had a seizing wrap on the ends of the fibre to hold iy in place and protect the ends of the braiding.

pins it down more. the vendor had covered all bases in the title description. "Huge heavy Amazon South American Kayapo Guyana Brazil Venezuela grooved War Club" ![]() i see it's only 3 inches from guyana tho. ![]() |
