				 | Keris photos in a siege

While browsing wikimedia the other day I find these two photos. I think these are very interesting as it shows keris in real use which is rare. Others who has not seen it before may find it interesting so I decided to share it here (please share if you have similar photos). If it has been posted here before I apologize to the moderators. Nice pictures. The source mentions "toneelspel 1910-1920". Toneelspel is dutch for "theaterplay". So it is not 100% a real siege but surely it will have been a realistic depiction of a siege. And therefore a very nice thing to share. Thanks ! |

I recognize tonil as a kind of theater but not toneelspel. I'll be more careful about captions and translations in the future. | |
