Falcon wing tip dagger?

I bought this dagger when I was 10 at a flee market. The man who sold it to me said it was a South American cowboy knife, Falcon winged tip. I cannot find anything on it, I've been wondering and looking for 17 years now. Anyone have information on this dagger?

Welcome to the forum. Your dagger is is from Luzon in the Philippines circa 1960-70s.

It's not Falcon, it is Facon, argentinian knife.

I AGREE WITH LEW AND JOSE. I HAD ONE JUST LIKE IT I PICKED UP IN THE LATE 1960'S OR EARLY 1970'S. THEY ARE WELL MADE AND I HAVEN'T SEEN MANY OVER THE YEARS.

Just curious how the term facon became 'falcon wing tip'. A simple typo is understandable, but to have the qualification 'wing tip' leads me to believe that more is in the mix.
Mikerck, welcome to the forum, and hope you dont mind my asking. We have often had some pretty fascinating discussions involving weapons terminology and thought perhaps you might add some insight here.

I'm not sure about any of the terminology. I was ten and I remember the man saying that. He also said the sheath was tight so it didn't fall out while riding a horse?
