I am going again to one of my favorite cities in the world, but I realized that I know no dealer there. If you know something please PM or mail me.

			Don't expect to much, unfortunately.

Last time I was there it was extremely expensive combined with low quality. But I was only looking at Indonesian and Filipino blades. Maybe it's different for other regions? I walked mostly the tribal art gallery streets. Michael |

To go to the Tribal Art galleries in PARIS

You can find the "Top of the Pop", sell your house, your car...before comming ! Métro : stations Odéon, Saint-Germain-des-Prés RER : station Saint-Michel - quai Malaquais - rue des Beaux-Art - rue de Seine - rue Jacques Callot - rue Mazarine - rue Guénégaud - quai des Grands Augustins Or you can go to the free market : Les puces de Clignancourt / St Ouen, Montreuil, Vanves... I think it's better to go to the Quai Branly museum, if you don't want to waste your time. Luc |

			Hello

I was in Paris few days ago. Ah, I would have liked to stay ! Anyway, if I could go back, I would go to these places (all these websites have an english version): -More than 100 antique shops grouped together in the downtown, LEFT bank of the Seine river : http://www.carrerivegauche.com/ -Another group of antique shops grouped in the downtown, on the RIGHT bank of the Seine river : http://www.louvre-antiquaires.com/ -The biggest antique market in the world, thousands of shops grouped together, in the close suburbs of Paris. The market is also called the Flea Market of Saint-Ouen : http://www.parispuces.com/FR/ - All the addresses of the tribal art galeries grouped in the same area and that are going to organize a common event in autumn : http://www.parcours-des-mondes.com/ -The auctions center of Paris and France, in the Hotel Drouot building. In this building, everyday many auctions sales. Go and see, everything on sale is first exhibited there : http://www.gazette-drouot.com -The Army Museum in the superb Invalides Monument (with a beautiful church where inside are exhibited all the flags won on the battlefields by the French army) http://www.invalides.org - the middle-age museum of Paris : http://www.musee-moyenage.fr - Impossible to avoid if you are an amateur, one of the biggest museum in the world for primitive art : http://www.quaibranly.fr - The Louvres has also a permanent exhibit of 100 masterworks of primitive art : http://www.insecula.com/salle/theme_40009_M0001.html YOU'LL NEED A LIFE IN PARIS TO VISIT ALL THESE PLACES. AND THIS IS ONLY A FRACTION, GOOD LUCK ! Best Yuanzhumin |

This is an excellent shop for antique weapons. Most are European but there are also ethnographic pieces.
