rare mandaya knife scabbard for sale. small chips on the throat. scabbard has an unusual piece of unknown animal skin threaded on the side. skin still has hair on it.

I hope you don't mind me correcting you on this one. I don't think this is a Mandaya sheath. I believe you are offering an African sheath from the Nkundu tribe in Congo. Still an nice piece, though. ![]() |

wow, the similarity is uncanny! but this particular sheath has been with a mandaya dagger i had a few years ago. the dagger is now long gone tho. perhaps that explains the animal skin strip with the sheath. |
