Has anyone seen any sword holders that are wall mounted in the Philippines?

I think I know what you are referring to as far as the Indo holders go . These are made to be worn on a belt at your back with the board portion facing downward to keep the bare blade away from the legs ; they are not really meant as display pieces for the house ; more for field work although they are nicely carved .

![]() Do you have any examples? Were any of these "scabbards" made and used in the PI (and when)? Thanks. |

I don't know if these were used in Philippine field agriculture ; but it seems quite possible . |

![]() If this is a Moro piece, when and where was it used? You do not see these around. |
