			This dagger belongs to a friend. He ask me about origin of the dagger.  The dagger was in a wall plaque with some cuban machetes and spanish machetes from 1898 more or less.

	I think Jose nailed it. Maybe some Filipino influence, but certainly nothing "traditional"about this one. Looks like somebody was practicing their file work. Do you have a picture of the wall plaque with the machetes? Regards, Ian  |
