				 | Mandau (small) for comment

I recently acquired a small mandau. Looks old. But I am not sure whether it is a tourist souvenir piece. Please kindly comment. |

Small. But how small. Do you have measurements ? The blade does not look like a tourist piece. The scabbard carvings are really nice. The handle could be more recent in my opinion. Best regards, Willem | |

				 | Tribal origin of mandau

The blade length is 37 cm, and the overall length is 52 cm. Can someone tell me the tribal origin of the mandau - i.e. Kayan, Iban? |
