Probably late 20th C. manufacture and measuring 10 inches overall with a 6 inch blade. The metal-covered wooden scabbard has brass around the throat and hilt is solid brass also. An uncommon knife from the Kafir people in Nuristan (a tribal region of northern Afghanistan).
