Thumbs up Nice New Hebridies club

There seemed to be a battle royal to get this club but somehow in the end I won it (completely unexpected and under my limit). Better pictures to follow. Look jolly good to me.

While this club is on the way to me, this link explains a lot for those not familiar with this material.

Here now and very nice. Very nice patina perhaps not potentially 300 years old as the one in the Pitt-Rivers. The white dots appear to be bone rather than shell as the brown spots with a x10 indicate. Not really a war weapon. A status symbol which could be used to whack anybody not bending to your will. Shown with some chums one or to stragglers not included.
