Hello. I am new to this forum and I'm just looking for a bit of information. I acquired this dagger about twenty years ago when I was traveling in Turkey. Since then the only thing that I have learned about it is that it’s called a Kindjal. Does anyone have any good information on this particular knife? I haven’t seen another like it, but it does have a makers mark. Of course, I have never seen that mark on any other kindjal. Anyone with a little information of any kind will all be much appreciated. (Even bad news)
Thank you. |

Thanks for your thoughts. I had a feeling that the blade was old, it has some blood pitting at the base and the stamp looked original, but I wasn’t too sure about the sheath and the handle. Oh well. Thanks again for your help.
