Real and with real "Jouhar" blade:-) I think it is Turkish/Ottoman. Is the handle made of stone? It looks like agate stone. These, as well as Persian Kards, are scarce finds in Damascus, and even more so in Egypt:-). there are more Kurdish daggers and blades, but not many kards, especially as nice as yours? I agree its Ottoman remember Syria was part of the Ottoman Empire.
