Oriental Picnic ? box set

Hello everybody,

I got this box, 20 cm diameter and pretty heavy ( 2kg ) only for ''the box'',

it was sold as an oriental picnic box set,
do you think it was made for that ?

I found it nice, maybe turkish-ottoman or north african ?
Maybe somebody recognise the pattern

Don't seems antique but not too recent
(more deep patina in reality than what seems in the pictures )

What do you think ?
