Thanks Jose. Sorry for the poor pictures...I took this pictures at night with a flash & defuser. Right now I'm back home for Thanksgiving, but once I get home I'll take some more photos during the day to take benefit of the added light. Close ups will as show the Japanese influence on the guard...circular guard with two lateral apertures, Chinese influence with the brass tunkou or sleeve at base of the blade and the blade is of French/European influence.
