I just recieved this Terengganu Keris back after Arjan has helped me to renovate it (Thanks for a great job with the scabbard mouth!).
This is the first Peninsular Keris Sundang, with this characteristic variation of dress, that I have seen with a twist core. Even the ganja is made of a piece of twistcore! Michael |

A little BUMP Michael...the conversation dropped off pretty quick...
This too may find its way to the Keris forum too and I am linking this too as there are similar aspects http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showthread.php?t=18922 |

I must admit I haven't seen very many twist core gangas. Twist core sundang, yes, but ganga, no....
Good idea Gav to link the two. |
