Jens i do have some more pictures what are you looking for ?Itravel to india once a year so if i dont have it can get it.aug 2012 trip flew into new dehli main reason for my trip to see national museum IT WAS CLOSED THE ONE DAY I WAS IN DEHLI will try next year.

Do you have a pic of the museum plaques identifying and dating the swords?
I am particularly interested in the first pic, the patissas/khandas with the Old Indian handles ( not the basket ones). |

Are the images from the Odisha State Museum? When I was there I could not find any weapons on display, but some exhibitions was being reorganized.
Did you also visit the tribal museum? They had some interesting tribal weapons on display but unfortunately photos was not allowed. |

plaque for first group of swords
Have not made it to tribal meusum yet. yes state museum had to wait 1 hour after it opened to see the arms room the guy with the door key was missing. Would you say that this is a tribal knife? |
