Chinese Dao Thread
I posted these some time ago and wanted to link to the recent thread on Chinese Dao, but could not find my original thread(s). So I will post a couple of my dao here.
Starting with a goose quill dao. Note the color of the hilt binding. Yellow was reserved for nobility. Phillip Tom thought this belonged to the equivalent of a Chinese duke. All this posting on Chinese dao has rekindled my interest in them! Last edited by Bill Marsh; 23rd August 2008 at 12:22 PM. |
