Writings on a badek

Last thread for me this year !!!

I have this badek in my little collection. Might someone help me with the translation of the writings on the sheat ?

Looks like my old Badek. Did you get it from Stefan?
Unfortunately I never found out what it meant except the dating and that it's from Makassar.
