Bavaria, MJK = Max Joseph König (he became King by Napoleon in 1806)

I think this is a composition of a Bavarian blade with a perhaps Bavarian scabbard, but the hilt is something untypical and unknown in Bavaria

This hilt style seems to have a curious resemblance to many Masonic types. Perhaps a heirloom blade remounted in this manner?
