Strange Dagger Arabian?
Dear All,
Could you help me with this dagger, jambiya? 38cm long, with nice metal work for scabbard and handle The blade is probably wootz I don't know if it is a 19th or 18th century work. It looks really old I don't think 20th c. The only similar examples that I found are from South Arabia, may be a kind of Dharia? But the work is really nice and looks Ottoman... The seller said Morocco... And he had a lot of things from Syria too... Thanks for your help Regards Kubur |
