Top left a patch box or cartridge box. I'd guess North Africa, Morocco or Algeria, but it could be Ottoman. Top right a Greek or Balkan 'Palaskas' Patch/cartridge box.
Bottom LEFT flask looks Moroccan again to me, but a good one. Bottom RIGHT not so sure, relatively average 'touristy' N.African type I'd guess. Last edited by Atlantia; 29th January 2012 at 07:10 PM. Reason: Doh! I apparently don't know left from right! LOL |

Salaams ~ The top left looks like Turkoman as it is typical in the deign using silver and gilding(or brass?) in the split palmette pattern with glass or coral beads...

The bottom left seems to me the better one ,nice work and look older too, so I 'm supprise that it could be according you a" tourist item" I 'm not specialist so it is only an opinion. Anyway thank you for your comment. Cerjak |

I meant the other way round. The bottom left one is indeed the nicer one and looks genuine and old, the right one seems more 'usual' ![]() |
