Hi all! I have bought this one, seems a nice one even if the blade seems heavy pitted from rust. Well I wait until it's here for a good clean and than I'll see what I have in the hands
The seller says that on the handle is bone

Hi Flavio,
nice arm dagger, if the pommel end is silver ..there is a good chance that the bone could be elephant Ivory. Regards David |

The blade needs a good cleaning otherwise its a nice old example early 20th century 1900 and yes I think it's silver and ivory Regards. Lew |

Although the african weapons are not my field of interest and admiration, I must say that looking at this small collection a feeling of admiration for some pieces comes up.

Somewhere around 24/25 cms I guess.
The toppart is ivory with a silver ferule The leatherwork on these scabbards is always amazing. How do they make them ? so fine / firm and of various kinds of leather. |

The dagger is here and it is indeed very nice with silver end cup and ivory pommel!!! The blade is heavy pitted but now that is clean is still a nice find and very cheap!!
