Default maker's mark

Can somebody please help me identify this make's mark. Apparently is on the tang of a rapier.

The straight (squared) base of the mark is what baffles me.

The only two marks that I could find are from Milano/Italy and Toledo/Spain

The Caino seems to be the one!
