DNA marking of weapons
I just read that the Swedish police in Stockholm has made an expariment.
They has chosen three quarters in Stockholm, and asked people to mark there collections with DNA - the theft fell with 40% within a year. When you used this kind of marking, you also put a sticker by the front door, and on the windows. I know this method is used in Denmark and in the UK - as far as I know. |
