S.E.Asian/Chinese?? Sword for sale

An interesting sword, collected in Cambodia in the 1960/70s. Actual origin is not known for certain. Measures 30 1/2" with a 22" sharp blade, which appears to be of folded construction. The blade is 1/2" thick at the guard and tapers evenly to the tip. The pierced guard is 2 3/4" diam. The 8 1/4" hilt is of iron and is nicely wrapped in twisted wire. There is a scabbard with it, which IS NOT the original, but fits the blade well.
