Default Letterings on Pesh-Kabz

Hi guys

My familiar bought this Pesh-Kabz. By the way, I think that this Pesh-Kabz spent the last part of his life in Afghanistan (these are my thoughts because of his scabbard).
Maybe someone can say what is written on the metal elements of this dagger.

To me, this Pesh-kabz looks typical Persian. Very, very beautiful piece. This quality od engraving is very Persian. Also the overall shape and the style of decorations are Persian.

I am not sure about the scabbard, but it might be a later Afghan replacement.

Can you post some photos detailing the wootz pattern.

Marius, I agree with you 200%. Of course, the dagger itself is Persian. I have no doubt about that.
I think it has a scabbard made in Afghanistan, but not the dagger itself

It is a magnificent knife! I envy you for this piece... among others... 😉

But I believe the blade could benefit greatly from a good etching as the wootz patterning appears to be almost completely worn out.
