Default Chinese inscriptions on keris

While reading old issues of Arts of Asia, I found this interesting letter in correspondence section of Jan-Feb 1989 issue about Chinese inscription on a Javanese Keris.

I've never come across any keris with chinese inscription before. Could this be a latter addition by a Chinese collector? does anyone here has an examples of keris with Chinese inscriptions ?. Would appreciate to see a few examples here.

Does anyone here know who this Mr Weber from Darwin is? Or may be he is one of the forrumers here?
