newly aquired sword, silver plated nielo and handle, some decay of under structure, and brass covered sheath, which is either newer or over existing wood scabbard. however, no identifiying marks. could it be a greek yataghan or a caucusus? blade is quite straight and seems to be laminated. any thoughts?

My guess it is just a 19th century Yataghan, from NE Anatolia ( they shared niello with Caucasus) and a later, pretty basic, replacement scabbard.
