				 | Pira with different pommel

Here is a pira blade with a different type of pommel. 17 inch laminated blade, 23 inches overall. Pommel looks to be a very stylized cockatoo type made of bunti wood. No scabbard. silver ferrule with some engraving. Only pira that I have seen with this kind of handle..........Dave.

THATS A BEAUTY!! I HAVEN'T SEEN THAT UNUSUAL FORM OF HANDLE AND IT IS A PLUS. BUT THAT PIECE OF WOOD WOULD MAKE A PLAIN HANDLE BEAUTIFUL . A GOOD PATTERN IN THE BLADE AND THE CLASSIC PIRA SHAPE MAKE IT A REAL TREASURE. THANKS FOR SHOWING IT. |

I agree, great looking pira Dave. I would be happy with any pira as long as it is an older one and in good condition but finding one like this would be outstanding. Best, Robert |
