12 Plate Kabuto Samuraihelmet

up for sale these Kabuto helmet fom the 18-19th.ct.
the bowl is made from 12 iron plates (brown laquered)(Adultsize!!)
these bowl is in his shape very rare, saiga form (look at the view from the side, it is not an melone shape form, these bowl is at the reare side higher than at the front)
the neckguard(shikoro) is from 3 parts. the laced silk cords are at some places rotten, the inner linning is complete
the brown urushi laque at the bowl and the shikoro is broken.
this is an old fighting samurai helmet.
