I think so, as many of his work was used as a source by Ruel, Jim, and Manoucher, and Rick on Swordforum.

I must say I was bewildered when I saw his main area of interest, medieval weapons, work that even the late Dr.Uncal Yucel used alot in his book, "Islamic Swords and Swordsmiths"
