I have a sword from Oman that I want to trade for something Moro.
Dimensions , blade - 33-1/8”, hilt - 7-3/4”
The blade has a strong flex. There are signs of three fullers at the base of the blade. The fullers doesn’t run the length of the blade.
The hilt is covered in thin leather or suede, that is kept in place by eight thumb tacks. I’m guessing the leather is not original to the sword. The hilt is partially wrapped in wire, which is coming undone. The iron pommel is present and has a lanyard hole.
There are inscription’s on both sides of the blade, which have been detailed in closeup photos.
