This halberd recently made its way to my collection together with the one in this thread-
http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showthread.php?t=20162. It was originally located in a Chateaux near Versailles in rough condition with the haft rotten. The metal was cleaned some and haft replaced.
Does anyone recognize the makers mark? How about the pattern of lines and dots on the blade? Any other known examples?
As always, any comments or thoughts are welcome.
