Kilij, Shields and Spear For Sale
Up for sale:
1- Egyptian (?) Kilij. Judging from the mount style it looks to use mounts in Persian style but are definitely not Persian made as they lack the finer details. The blade is laminated, has a yelman that lost much of its structure due to sharpening. This was bought in Egypt in the 60's by a French officer under Jacques Cousteau's mission. price 1800 usd.
2- Ming Dynasty spear. I don't know much about those, though friends identified it as Ming with a repair at the entrance of the socket. 350 usd
3- Leather Indian small shield. Lovely example, made of robust leather. 400 usd.
4- Koftagri Indian shield. 450 usd.
5- Tribal shield 1. Robust construction, missing a brass decoration. 300 usd.
6- Tribal shield 2. Robust construction, complete with a black dye. I assume it to be Afghan. 400 usd.
