No worries, I was just confused as to whether there may have been some new information that pinpoints these at least in terms of geographic area. To sum it up, Zirngibl thought these may be from Mali/Tuareg areas, while in previous forum discussions the conclusion was that these are most likely from Senegal. Unfortunately West African knives and daggers have not been studied well and as a result there are a lot of contradicting attributions, such as in this case.
